WordPress and More

WordPress is a great piece of (free) software that enables you to create fantastic looking websites (like ours). The out of the box functionality of WordPress when it comes to handling photos is not that great. As a result, many WordPress plugins have been developed to create photo albums or galleries. To our opinion, the best one is called NextGEN Gallery. NextGEN Gallery allows you to create photo galleries which are collections of photos. Galleries can be combined to form photo albums. By using shortcodes in your WordPress posts or pages, you can display individual photos, thumbnails, galleries or albums on your website.

Although you can use the upload functionality of WordPress and/or NextGEN Gallery to add photos to your website, there are better ways of doing so. One way is to use Windows Live Photo Gallery to organize your photos on your computer and then upload them. There used to be one downside to this approach: Windows Live Photo Gallery does not provide options to interact with WordPress nor with NextGEN Gallery. Well, we solved that for you: meet WordPress and More.

WordPress and More is a plugin for Windows Live Photo Gallery that will allow you to create NextGEN photo galleries and upload photos to them. When you are not using the NextGEN Gallery plugin, WordPress and More can still be helpful, since it will also enable you to upload your photos to the WordPress media library.

WordPress and More Standard Edition is free for personal use. The Standard Edition of WordPress and More can be used up to a specific date. We will release newer versions before the license expires. We are working on a Professional Edition of the plugin as well. As soon as that version is available, we will change the licensing method and a trial version will be introduced. The Standard Edition will always be available and free to use (within the boundaries of the license as displayed during the installation).
